Star Hostess

Who is the hostess with the mostest? NOT me! I was convinced that M's party started at 12pm today. Beyond a reasonable doubt. Guess what? When I got there early, at 11:40am, I was actually dumb ass late because the party, both according to the bowling place and my evite, was at 11am. Some people ask me how I do it, keep up with all of the kids, schedules, activities. Well, here is your answer: like shit. I got to the party ready to cry, the alley full of mothers I do not care for, all of whom seemed happy to see me fuck up. I am thankful that C was there, the only one who was there, to help me with babies, kid and mother management. One mother told me she was scared to call me (ie thinks I am intimidating or a bitch) but also proceeded to tell me that she tried to start the party without me (or M). Isn't that sweet? Had she succeeded M would have missed half of her party and/or I would have been charged more for it. Guess I am not so intimidating. What a horrible mistake. What a long day. How does she do it some ask. Not very well, I say.

    the only thing that makes that story just a little bit sadder is that if the party truly was at noon, we would could have gone. i wouldn't feel too bad though, i think your screw up to success ratio is very, very low. happy belated and happy party to the big 7 year old (and to you, too). xo

    the kids didn't care about waiting and neither did the grownups (moms and sitters with time to spare!) the party was great and the birthday girl had a great time. i am, however, sad that we missed the caloyeras/buntz team

    It seems like everyone had a great time, regardless of when it officially started! Sounds like we need a game night soon to blow off some steam : )
